Welcome to Act 2 of Macbeth!
After watching the film of Act 1, we should be in a good position to get straight in to seeing if things really are going to go as the witches predicted. We’ll stop frequently to analyse important moments and to decode Shakespeare’s intention as it sits as a cipher inside his words.  Once again, when we reach the end of the act, we’ll then watch the film version together – and examine the difference between what you had in your mind’s eye, and what this director made of the play.
