Ambition. In today’s world, we consider individual ambition to be a virtue. We are encouraged to excel in every facet of our lives. You pay no attention, though, to the means by which people achieve their successes. The only control over the morality of our actions in pursuit of success is our own integrity – and we all know how weak morality is as a form of restraint when personal success is at stake.
