As we read Macbeth, we often pause to pay close attention to key moments in the play. This is one of the most famous of Shakespeare’s soliloquies. Here I look into the language Shakespeare uses to convey Lady Macbeth’s response to the letter from Macbeth which informs her of the witches’ prediction.

There is a task attached at the end, which I ask you to complete on your blogs. I will comment directly on these responses.
